Medical aid was distributed to the members of the bank suffering from terminal diseases from the member relief fund of the cooperative department. 19 lakh has been sanctioned from the Department of Cooperation. Honorable Kochi MLA Shri KJ Maxey inaugurated the function which was held at Bank Hall on Kumbalangi Vazhi on January 10 at 5 pm. Bank President Mr. K P Selvan Mr. K Suresh, Vice President of the Bank presided over the welcome and Mrs. K M Najma, Secretary, gave the vote of thanks. Mr. P A Peter, Mr. Basil Mylantra, K P Soman, K J Basil also spoke. The Co-operative Members' Relief Fund is raised from the profits of the Co-operative Banks.
